Grandview High School Coach Reggie Morris is the recipient of the 2018 Paul Lambert Coach of the Year Award. The award goes to a Kansas City Metro High School boys basketball coach each year.

In the 2017-18 season Coach Morris’ team finished with a 28-3 record and won the Missouri Class 4 State Boys’ Basketball Championship. It was the first state title in school history. Prior to the state tournament, the Bulldogs won the Suburban Conference Blue Division Championship (for a 2nd straight year), the Blue Valley Tournament, the Shawnee Mission West Tournament and the Missouri District 12 Title hosted by Pleasant Hill. Grandview was ranked #1 in the Kansas City Metro and by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. The 2017-18 season was Coach Morris’ 4th year as Head Basketball Coach at Grandview. He has won 82 games at Grandview and 163 overall.
